Making changes to our habits can be challenging. Regardless of your motivation, oftentimes we struggle to know where to start and the business of life can get in the way. On top of this, we live in a world where we are bombarded with nutrition information — this can be overwhelming, inaccurate and conflicting leaving you feeling more confused than informed. With all these different rules of what we “should” be doing, we often lose touch with what truly makes us feel good and supports our overall health and wellbeing.

My approach as a nutritional practitioner is to find a way to incorporate healthy and  sustainable habits that work for you — there is no one diet fits all. I want you to be educated and empowered, for you to truly understand WHY you’re making these habit changes. My goal is to provide you with accurate information and compassionate support to guide you along your own health journey. Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring and I am here to show you that you can make supportive food choices without restriction, guilt or missing out. Together, we can develop strategies to get you more in tune with your body, feel confident in the food choices you’re making, and promote your overall health.

When Danae is not seeing clients, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes, exploring the outdoors, staying active, making sourdough bread, listening to music & spending time with her two dogs.

Land Acknowledgement

Juniper Naturopathic Clinic operates on nistawâyâw, within Treaty 8. This is the traditional territory of the Cree and Dene people and the unceded homeland of the Métis. We recognize that the colonization of this land by settlers like us was and continues to be unjust and harmful.

We would like to honour the role Indigenous people have taken on for thousands of years as environmental stewards and we would like to show the same respect for the environment. We acknowledge that much of Naturopathic Medicine’s understanding of herbal medicine and other treatments is owed to the knowledge and wisdom of Indigenous peoples.

We are grateful for the opportunity to practice medicine, learn, and work on this land.
