Natural evidence-informed treatment options

Botanical Medicine
Botanical or herbal medicine uses the power of plants to treat illnesses. We have a botanical compounding lab onsite in order to make individualized tinctures (liquid plant extracts) and herbal tea formulas.
Dietary Counselling
We can help you assess your current diet for deficiencies and help support you to add necessary dietary components in order to receive optimal nutrients. Depending on your symptoms and goals we may recommend a specific dietary plan and will provide resources in order to help you be successful.
Nutritional Supplements
Vitamins and supplements can be prescribed in order to help you manage your symptoms or to treat an underlying deficiency. We work to ensure that we are prescribing products that are highly evidence-informed and will work safely in conjunction with your current pharmaceutical drugs.
Lifestyle Medicine
Lifestyle medicine is all encompassing. This can be anything from sleep hygiene support, to cognitive behavioural exercises, to yoga, meditation, and workout plans.
Acupuncture is when very thin needles are inserted into points on various places all over the body. This process is generally painless and very safe and has been historically used to treat all kinds of ailments including digestion, mental health, hormonal imbalances, and pain management.
Intravenous Vitamin Therapy
Intravenous vitamin therapy is high-dose vitamins that can be administered directly into a patient’s vein. IV therapy can support a variety of health concerns including stress management, energy levels, athletic performance, anxiety, mood support, substance use, overall health, skin health, and more.
Prolotherapy is a type of regenerative injection therapy. Prolo- for proliferative, meaning it stimulates the proliferation / creation of new tissue at the site of injury.

Juniper Naturopathic Clinic acknowledges that we are operating this business on Treaty 8 land. This land is the traditional territory, gathering place, and meeting grounds of the Cree, Dene, Dane-zaa, and Métis. We acknowledge that we are settlers on this land and we deeply respect the courage and strength of Indigenous peoples.

We would like to honour the role Indigenous people have taken on for thousands of years as environmental stewards and we would like to show the same respect for the environment. We acknowledge that much of Naturopathic Medicine’s understanding of herbal medicine and other treatments is owed to the knowledge and wisdom of Indigenous peoples.
